Guy Landau is Hebleo’s co-founder and content director. He speaks Hebrew, English, Arabic and Japanese, and has been teaching Hebrew since 2016, delivering thousands of lessons to hundreds of students, and being consistently rated as the top featured Hebrew tutor on Verbling.com.
Over the years, Guy has developed materials and methodologies to make learning Hebrew easy and intuitive, informed by his background in Cognitive Science, Psychology and Psycholinguistics (how humans learn languages). These materials have been tested, improved and perfected with hundreds of students, and have now been adapted into this online course.

Avishai Ella is Hebleo’s co-founder and technical director. He speaks Hebrew, English, Spanish and French, and has been teaching Hebrew to students from all over the world since 2017. Avishai had a goal of “cracking the code” for teaching Hebrew, with outside the box thinking and methods informed by his background as a Psychology PhD candidate at the Hebrew University.
After Avishai and Guy met, the two have worked tirelessly over the last 3 years, and combined their knowledge and experience as language learners and teachers with Guy’s unique methodology to create this innovative Hebrew course, which is now finally available!

"I've been working with Guy for several months and I recommend him deeply if you're about to embark on a Hebrew learning journey. He is innovative, hyper-organized, and takes my learning seriously. He's created an entire fleet of customized materials and resources for students that you'd be hard-pressed to find in the 'commercial' Hebrew-learning marketplace; and obviously pours a lot of care and detail into these materials.
